This Kachina Doll is called "Black Bear"! In Navajo tradition the Bear represents strength and power. The Bear is considered to be one of the most powerful and sacred of all animals. This Kachina doll is 9 1/2 inches tall, the Bear Face or Mask comes off reveiling the Warrior inside. This Kachina was painted and assembled by hand with feathers, rabbit fur, shell and leather accessories.
