Unusual handcrafted Three Strand Bone Choker, made with twelve White Horn Bone and Turquoise Beads with leather straps and ties. This unique Bone Choker necklace was made by Mae S, a Native American of the Navajo Tribe. These bone chokers have been worn as bracelets, arm bands and chokers for centuries. Each Bone measures approximately 1 1/2 inches in length making the length of the bone strands approximately 11 inches by approximately 1 inch in height. The length from one leather side tips to the other is approximately 14 inches, while the total length including the leather tie straps is 24 inches.
